Neurodiversity Awareness & Advocacy

Building Understanding. Challenging Stigma. Advancing Inclusion.

Neurodiversity Awareness & Advocacy is at the heart of MIDaar’s work to create a society where neurodivergent individuals are understood, respected and included. We work to increase public understanding of neurodiversity and promote a positive shift in how individuals with different ways of thinking, learning and experiencing the world are perceived and supported.

Through awareness campaigns, community engagement, advocacy initiatives and education, we bring important conversations about neurodiversity to families, schools, communities, institutions and other stakeholders. Our goal is to replace misconceptions and stigma with knowledge, acceptance and meaningful inclusion.

What We Do

Awareness & Sensitization

We conduct awareness activities that help communities understand neurodiversity and recognize the strengths, experiences and needs of neurodivergent individuals.

Advocacy

We advocate for the rights, dignity, participation and equal opportunities of neurodivergent individuals, encouraging systems and institutions to become more inclusive.

Community Engagement

We work with communities and local stakeholders to create spaces for dialogue, learning and collaboration around neurodiversity and inclusion.

Capacity Building

We equip parents, caregivers, educators, community leaders and other stakeholders with practical knowledge that enables them to better support neurodivergent individuals.

Our Approach

We believe awareness should lead to action. Our advocacy therefore focuses not only on creating understanding, but also on encouraging practical changes in families, schools, communities and institutions.

By bringing people together and amplifying the voices and experiences of neurodivergent individuals, MIDaar seeks to contribute to a more inclusive society where differences are respected and every person has the opportunity to participate and thrive.
